Loved the material so much, I decided to make for myself an overdue ipad cover.
Also sewed in some padding to protect it from any knocks.
So glad it turned out well.

Teacher's Pet.....

Made this hand carry marker case

for teacher's day.
So convenient to sling on the wrist with test papers in both hands!

And it's reversible too.
It can flip to fit her wardrobe.

Cu-Tee-wings.....

More pressies.....
Made a butterfly wing for a tee for two other godaughters.
It is attached by velcro which is padded by felt.

And she will have an option to change it to an angel wing
if she is feeling especially good.

She could even choose a different colour.

SOooooo pretty......

Is it a tag.....?

In the midst of making tags for a bday party goodie bag.

Butterflies and ballet shoes with
printed names inserted in plastic pockets.

They were originally luggage tags.
But it could also be tied around the wrist
or hung around the neck or on a door knob.

The boys are not left out this time.

Crazy robots!

Sushi Cushi.....

Made a little sushi keychain for my godaughter in US.

Hope it is cute enought to eat!

A panel bag.....

A big shoulder bag to stuff lots and lots of things.
It has an inner zipper, panelling and pleats.
Needed some time matching the pattern so that it flows well.

Going pots again.....

These little pots have little buterflies fluttering on its front.

Box and bag .....

{The first of many friend's bday pressies}

It was supposed to be a box to store things.
Added two handles and some elastic bands......

.....and it became a box carrier for little samples.
Don't forget the matching name card holder.

Travel Pack.....

Four helpful handys.

A shoe bag for flaties. Woohoo, at last one for me. Fits two pairs.
A bottle bag for all my tall bottles.

Another bag for my mid sized bottles and creams and lastly a make up bag.
All in matching material.

Bag, Bags, Bags.....

More bags.

Another diary wrap with a few modifications.
This one is slightly bigger and has a velcro instead of a ribbon tie.
Much easier to use.

This can either be a pencil case or a make up case for
long eye liner pencils, mascara and lip gloss.
Fits perfume bottles and even eye glasses.
An everyday case for every thing.

Shoe-Shoe.....

Took a break from making bags to do some craftting.

Made for the kids and all their friends keychains in the shape of sneakers.
Made a special one for a teacher who loves cars.

My favourite part of the 'çar'.
It comes with a front grill, a convertible hood, side view mirrors,
4 sports wheels and a licence plate.
Oops! and moveable eyes.....

Also tried to embroider on each of the shoes. Too cute!

Notice the butterfly wings.....well, the boys had theirs with dragon wings ; )

Little pretty pots.....

Made 10 little pretty pots.

Really enjoyed sewing them as it became an expression of me.....

.....from the choice of colours, threads, lace and ribbons
as well as the embroidery of the name and designs.
Every single part is sewn either by machine or hand.
A fully lined pot with little handmade bows at the sides.
(Min's is my daughter's and my fav design.)

Pretty flowers, pretty bees.....

and prettly little butterflies sitting on the rim.

A new design.....

Have been toying with the idea of sewing in handles instead of a strap
on the wistlet for several months but I was unsure on how to do it.
But with time, comes more confidence
and I have finally attempted to do something that turned out to be too easy.

The embroidery does seem to blend in too much but I like subtlety sometimes......

and other times, not.

Choc & Cheese.....

Took a break from sewing to bake this yummy chocolate cake with cheese frosting
(my favourite type of frosting).
It is actually a Red Velvet Cake, recommended by Serendipity Cakes.
Thanks Yvonne!

The cake is called red velvet because it uses a lot of red colouring to give it a rich red look.
But of course, being so unprepared but so eager to bake, I made it minus the red colouring.
Fortunately, the taste was just as good.

It was so good that I sacrificed my dinner for two slices of cake.
A truly great cake.
